  • Yr5/6 were very lucky to hear a talk by Edward and Deb Kent, a teacher of the hearing impaired, about what it is like to be deaf and how we can help communicate better with each other.
  • We Learnt about how the human ear works and in our groups we made a human ear machine.
  • We Played a game where we had to guess the loudest sound. We used a sound metre to measure a selection of sounds.
  • We also played Sound Lotto to test our own listening ability.
  • With Edwards help we came up with ways to help us to communicate better with a person who is deaf.
