• Eco Club runs after school until 4.15 on Thursdays with Mr Stevenson.
  • We are pleased to be able to offer the above club to children in Key Stage 2. The club is held on Thursdays from 3:15p.m. to 4:15pm.
This club is £1 per week and places are offered on a “first-come, first-served” basis.  The children will need “gardening clothes” and suitable footwear.
If your child came last year, and would like to continue, please fill in a new form since picking up arrangements often change.

The club will be run to encourage children to learn about taking care of the environment and the school garden and areas. We are planting vegetables, trees, shrubs and flowers.
We have worked towards the Eco Schools Award run by ENCAMS (who also run the Keep Britain Tidy campaign).
We have a new greenhouse and raised beds and three garden areas. We look forward to all eager eco warriors and keen or learner gardeners joining us. If you have any spare cuttings etc. they will be gratefully received.
Our activities include weeding, planting, watering.   We are hoping this term to plant up all the tubs, baskets and raised beds with vegetables and flowers of different types.
We also look at recycling and create things from recycled material like plant labels, pencil pots, christmas cards, gift tags and have even made Minions.
We have started to plant Sweet Peas, tomatoes, peppers, broad beans and flowers all from seed.
