Welcome to St Francis Minis, a new nursery in Melton Mowbray providing high-quality childcare and early years education for children aged 3 to 4 years. Opening in September 2026, we offer a safe, nurturing environment with flexible half-day and full-day sessions, as well as 15 and 30 hours funded childcare. We’re delighted to be opening our doors on Tuesday 1st September, following the August Bank Holiday, and are very much looking forward to welcoming children and families to our new nursery.
We warmly welcome children aged 3 to 4 years old, offering a nurturing and engaging environment that supports their development and prepares them for the next stage of their learning journey.
Our nursery operates a structured daily schedule, with a morning session from 8:45am to 11:45am, followed by a lunch session from 11:45am to 12:15pm and an afternoon session from 12:15pm to 3:15pm.
Our nursery fees are £22.50 per half day session or £45 for a full day. The lunchtime session supervision is £4 for all children staying for lunch. Children can bring a packed lunch or pay for a hot meal.
Our exciting new nursery space includes indoor and outdoor learning areas, made possible through funding from the Department for Education, creating a safe and engaging environment for children to learn and grow.
We offer free 15 or 30 funded hours, depending on your circumstances. Children will wear a light blue polo shirt with the St Francis uniform or black bottoms, giving them their own identity. A taster session will be offered before children start.
